We’re looking for a strong full-stack engineer to join our Learning team at Seismic as a Senior Software Engineer II. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and scale cloud-based systems that power learning and enablement experiences for global customers. You will play a key role in modernizing systems into a scalable microservices architecture using Node.js and React.
6–10 years of software development experience in a SaaS environment.
Strong contributor who takes ownership of complex problems and drives solutions end-to-end.
Experience building and scaling full-stack applications across multiple projects.
Ability to think both tactically and strategically with focus on long-term quality.
Strong focus on software quality, reliability, and operational excellence.
Solid experience with Node.js (backend) and React (frontend).
Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and system design.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Nice to Have
Experience working on learning platforms or content systems
Exposure to analytics or personalization systems
Experience with video/content delivery systems
Develop, improve, and maintain backend services (Node.js) and frontend applications (React), ensuring seamless integration across the Seismic platform.
Handle high-priority, customer-facing defects, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues in production systems.
Migrate business functionality to a scalable microservices-based architecture.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build and deploy impactful features.
Deliver end-to-end solutions across backend APIs and frontend experiences.
Participate in code reviews, bug triage, and continuous quality improvements.
